Brenda Miele brings her passion for nonprofits, UX design and web development to Charity Dynamics as the UX and Creative Director. After graduating from The University of Texas, her career has led her up and down the crazy, winding road of .com start-ups as a project manager, designer, developer, and strategist. Wearing these various hats has given her great insight and experiences in the rapidly changing world of usability and technology as well as taught her how to work efficiently with clients and partners.
After working as a fundraising software integration specialist at Convio (now Blackbaud), Brenda found her passion — working exclusively with non-profits. As a UX strategist, she brings a better user experience to great nonprofits such as American Diabetes Association, Make-A-Wish, American Heart Association, and the National Kidney Foundation.
Brenda is a proud South Austinite and was living in Austin long before the Frost Tower became the first official skyscraper in the skyline. When she’s not reading about trends in UX or trying to get caught up on Game of Thrones, she can usually be found working on building her family’s genealogy tree, laughing at cat memes, volunteering, and traveling the world with her family and friends.
